How Amminex eliminated the NOx problem from Copenhagen buses

How can cities improve their air quality and reduce NOx pollution? In search for answers, the EU Eco innovation forum for air quality in Sofia invited Amminex CEO Annika Isaksson to talk about results from the Copenhagen retrofit project of 300 buses.

300 city buses in Copenhagen have been upgraded to remove toxic NOx emissions from the diesel engines. Amminex was chosen as sole supplier for the ambitious “Clean Air Package” due to the superior efficiency of the innovative ASDS™ technology and due to real-time measurements and documentation of the NOx removal.

This was the topic for CEO of Amminex Annika Isaksson at her so-called ‘converstation’ talk at the EU Eco Innovation forum in Sofia in February.

An engaged group of professionals from the public and private sector was listening to both the technical explanation of how ammonia can safely be stored in a salt and to the tangible results of ASDS achieved by the public transport agency Movia in the Copenhagen retrofit project.
